Sahir House is proud to be celebrating 25 years of support and services to the HIV Community on Merseyside. This important landmark in our history reflects on our past achievements and successes whilst providing a starting point for the future as we shape our services to meet the needs of people living with and affected by HIV in the years to come. We want to make this a memorable year and use every opportunity to acknowledge this achievement. 

We are aiming to raise £25,000 this year, WHAT CAN YOU DO:

• Donate towards this appeal
• Take part in a fundraising event
• Encourage friends and family to fundraise for this appeal

Our first fundraising event was at MODO on Concert Square : ‘Lipstick on your collar’

 We had a fabulous evening with Free Cocktails on arrival supplied by MODO,

The fabulous Lady Sian hosting the evening, Mac cosmetics offering make up hints and tips and fabulous entertainment from:

• Barbieshop
• The Delights
• La Shimmy sisters
• Ishtar Belly Dancer

Raffle prizes:

• 2 places at Yo! Sushi Cooking school
• 1 luxury shave at  Voodou
• 1 cut and finish at Voodou
• 2 tickets for Unity Theatre
• goody bag from ‘Purlesque’
• goody bag from LUSH
• 1 therapy treatment
• Champagne donated by MODO

Door entry and raffle raised £250, however, we can calculate from the donated raffle prizes, the artists giving their time free of charge and volunteer support what was raised ‘in kind’ which was just under £1000.

• 60 Hope Street Dinner - Mon 21 st June – Midsummer night’s Dream

• World Aids Day event - St.Georges Hall, dress to impress
