Volunteers are instrumental in providing the following servicesOffice Team
Provide admin support, staff the reception area and welcome guests to Sahir House.Information Service
Raise the profile of Sahir House and raise its much needed funds, as well as campaigning to reduce the prejudice surrounding HIV.Children's Services
Helping children and young people who are affected by HIV, by offering support and social activities.Adult Support Service
Helping Adults who are living with or affected by HIV, by providing practical, emotional, social and/or transport assistance.Training Service
Offering training to new volunteers and the wider community promoting the work of Sahir House and awareness of HIV. Other opportunities to volunteering include; Campaigning, Fundraising, Office Support & Administration. Sahir House commits to offer qualitative and equal opportunities and welcomes people from all areas of the Merseyside community. We continually aim to address under representation and/or skills shortage within its volunteer team. We especially welcome interest from Black people; also, those who speak other languages are unemployed or retired, those with cars, practical skills/abilities and those with training skills.(the documents below are in word and need to be downloaded)
